In Awe of God
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress ~Psalm 46:10 (NLT)
When you spend time with God not asking for a laundry list of things, even if for other people, and you just spend Quiet Time worshipping who He is to you, you can’t help but be in awe of Him. When you take time to just meditate on how He has blown your mind in the past, how He paid your bills when your money was short. How He fed you when your cabinets were bare. How He had someone in your contacts send you a text, email or call you. Notice I didn’t say a friend or loved one because it is often that God will use someone not in your constant immediate space to bless you with the right word, the right hug, or the right nudging to let you know that He heard you, and He’s got you, and He is steadily working on your behalf.
Call To Action: Spend some quiet time with God just being in awe of who He has been for you, who He is for you, and who you need Him to be for you.
For the Unknown
But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. ~Romans 8:24-27 (NLT)
When you spend Quiet Time with God being grateful for what you have and thanking Him in advance for continued blessings of your relationship with Him and others, your physical possessions and finances, etc. However, you feel like something greater is coming your way and you don’t know what that is, and you thank God in advance for the greater He is working on your behalf for. When you invite God in and surrender that situation over to Him for Him to work His miracles and His breakthroughs on your behalf, and sometimes you know, but the words just won’t form, so you groan, or just keep saying Jesus or Help Me, Lord over and over and the Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf.

When you know you must stand with Holy Spirit, God anointing, but you need reinforcements who understand the importance and significance of what needs to be done. You have to sometimes call on your prayer warrior friends to touch and agree with you in the Spirit for Quiet Time, take the faith steps that God will once again show up like He said, even if this time it’s much bigger than before. Even if this time, it seems like there is no way. Even if this time, you can’t figure out a solution, but remember that sometimes, prayer must meet up with fasting so it can come to pass, and God can get the glory.
