What are limiting beliefs, just so we are clear
They are the restrictive thought processes and systems we constantly hear
Whether from self or others, they are those things that say we can not
And prevent us from moving outside of that box
Things like “I am not good enough for that person”
Because they cheated on me, we start to believe the worse
Things like “I am not smart enough for that promotion”
Because we were overlooked not once, but twice, we practice self-demotion
What are the limiting beliefs that run through your mind?
Do they come disguised as excuses, fear, or hesitation that is sublime?
Is that why you haven’t started the book you have been wanting to for years?
Is that why you haven’t gotten the degree, and now your age is added to your fears?
What will other people think of me, is a popular limiting belief
But at the end of the day, over your life, who is really the head chief?
Do you flow and march to the beat of a drum set by someone else? Outside of God, have you given full rights to YOU to encourage self?
Here’s how we start to address these limiting beliefs
And take your position below God, who should always be head chief
First you identify what those limiting beliefs are
Then you reverse it and find the bright and shining star!
I know, it’s so simple, but that’s all there is to it
The next thing is to simply start believing in it
Let’s call them limitless reliefs
And commit to practicing them so access is cut off from the negative thieves
Identify your limitless reliefs over the next few days
And repeat them to yourself and watch how even you become amazed
Say them out loud, write them somewhere where you can see them
And one by one watch how you evolve and deposit more stock into your freedom
Example exercise:
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. ~Philippians 4:13 (NLT)
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. ~Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
